Someone, (namely me, the Dastardly Dusty Linden:-), has been going around telling people that Burning Life was going to open on October 3. IT'S NOT! It's really opening October 17 2009, and running through the 25th. We hope that doesn't mess up anyone's plans, but it will allow us to spend more time talking with the community before we start giving away land. We are very keen on the "why" of Burning Life, it's history, it's culture, and it's goals— and with more new people in Second Life every day, we know we have a lot of explaining to do. For example, some might wonder, why are there Porta Potties in Second Life? And why might you find a Bear when you open the door? Ah, the stories we could tell....
